A Few of my Favorite Things
Microsoft Surface Pro
I know this is kind of pricey, but I promise it is worth it if your school uses the Microsoft platform. I love that the keypad can be removed so that the screen can be used as a tablet. It makes it super easy to walk around my class while teaching
Hanging jewelry organizer
I love earrings but have trouble storing them in an organized way. Most jewelry organizers take up a lot of counter space. I was thrilled when I found this! I simply hung up a Command hook and hooked this baby on to it. Now I can see all my earrings and have a lot more counter space.
Craft Paper
Anchor chart paper is EXPENSIVE. To save money we hang this craft paper on a magnetic towel rod that is on our board. When we need to write something we just pull it down to a clean area
Owala FreeSip
This water bottle is one of my favorites because it lets me sip or swig! It keeps my drinks cold for two days. I’ve dropped mine plenty of times and it hasn’t broken so it’s pretty durable.
Croc Charms
As rewards for the students, they are sometimes allowed to wear Crocs. I had no idea they would work so hard to earn Croc charms for those special days. They love showing them off to their friends and even trade them.
Inflatable Sensory Cushion
At my last school, I had several extremely hyperactive students. I could rarely get them to sit down. I purchased three of these sensory cushions just to try. They really helped out! They worked so well that I actually left them at the school when I got a new job so that the next teacher would be able to use them
Wireless Doorbell
With 38 different tones, this wireless doorbell will get your students attention quickly. It is loud enough to be heard over the loud chaos of students but not loud enough to disturb the classes next to you.
Visual Timer
For my visual learners, this timer does the trick!
Magnetic Hooks
Hang up alllll the anchor charts with these hooks. They are suuuuuuper strong. I accidentally stuck one on to my file cabinet and it took work to pull it off.
Clipboards
I use flexible seating in my classroom so these clipboards come in handy when students need something to write on. We also use them when we do gallery walks and stations. They’ve held up well and are pretty sturdy.
Sticky notes… book
Any kind of sticky note you need all in one place!!!!
Desk Chair
This is probably the most comfortable desk chair I have ever had. I’ve had mine for three years now. Unfortunately, I accidentally ripped a hole in the seat. But you can bet I will order a new one as soon as mine is no longer useable.
Fidget Stickers
I’m not sure if I got these more for myself or for my students. I have one on just about every surface I often come in contact with. I have one on my cup, phone, desk, and computer. I’m telling you, they legit help with anxiety. My students love them too and often put them on their computers.
Magnetic Timers
If you can’t tell, I love magnetic things. They are just easier to keep up with. These timers are magnetic and cute!
Magnetic Erasers
I don’t think I could keep up with an eraser if my life depended on it. Each year I buy myself this 48 pack of magnetic erasers. Since they stick to the board, I am able to keep up with them a little longer. When I do inevitably lose one, I just pull out another.
Felt Tip Pens
Are you really a teacher if you don’t have felt tip pens???? I use these pens every year. I feel like they never run out… I just lose them
Magnetic Clips
These clips are super strong and can hold several pieces of paper. Plus, I love the bright colors
Perfume
Since this perfume is on Amazon, I’m gonna go ahead and say it’s not actual Versace. But it smells exactly like it and last forever!
Stickers!
My kiddos will work for stickers! They love to stick them on their computers and water bottles. This pack is the cutest I’ve ordered.
Makeup Organizer
This organizer comes in two pieces so they can either stack or separate. I use mine for makeup, bobby pins, ponytail holders, and rubber bands. I love the easy access!

On my Pinterest page you will find bedrooms and classrooms that I have designed. It started out of boredom, but people seem to have liked what I’ve done and have started asking me for ideas. Check it out for decoration ideas… on a budget of course.
